FNB Announces New Temporary Mobile Unit Office in Mayfield

Mayfield Main Mobile Unit OfficeFNB Bank is proud to announce the addition of a temporary mobile unit office in Mayfield.  FNB’s new mobile unit office will be located at 201 North 8th Street (former site of FNB Operations Center) and will temporarily operate through the rebuilding phase of FNB’s Mayfield Main Office.

The mobile unit will offer the same services as a standard FNB branch including the ability to process teller transactions, open deposit accounts, and lending services.  The unit will also include one drive-through lane for added customer convenience as well as a night depository.  ATM services will still be located at our Mayfield South office at 310 Charles Drive.  Hours of operation will be:

Monday – Thursday 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Friday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Drive-Thru Hours

Monday – Thursday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

The opening of FNB’s Mayfield Mobile Unit is set for Thursday, December 1st.  The Mayfield-Graves County Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon cutting on Tuesday, December 6th at 11 AM.  More details will be announced when available.

4th Annual Festival of Lights Happening Now in Mayfield

FNB Bank is proud to be the title sponsor for the 4th Annual Festival of Lights at the Mayfield-Graves County Fairgrounds. The drive-thru Christmas light display is happening every weekend night through Sunday, January 1st from 5:30 – 8:30 PM as well as other special weekday nights.  Admission is free but monetary and canned good donations are accepted.

DREAM Together Check Presentation Held for Richard Chapman

A check presentation was held on Thursday, November 17th, to present DREAM Together funds to Richard Chapman in the amount of $6,409.  Chapman took advantage of the DREAM Together partnership program offered by FNB Bank and First Kentucky Bank.  The DREAM acronym stands for Downtown Revitalization & Economic Advancement for Mayfield.  Together, both Mayfield-based banks have partnered to provide incentives and low interest loans for businesses that want to rebuild and invest again in downtown Mayfield.  The collective goal of FKB and FNB is to stimulate economic development and put jobs back in one of the hardest hit areas in the community.

The property owned by Richard Chapman at 423 East Broadway is occupied by the Law Offices of Null, Samson & Paitsel, and sustained extensive damage during the December 10th, 2021, tornado. Renovations are currently underway on the existing building and expected to be complete in early 2023.

Don & Danna Simpkins own the property and building at 304 South 6th Street in Mayfield, that houses Western Kentucky Insurance. Western Kentucky Insurance, owned by Jonathan Simpkins, was devastated by the December 10th, 2021, tornado that struck Mayfield.  The building was demolished and is currently in the rebuilding stage.  The newly constructed state of the art facility is anticipated to reopen in late Spring 2023 and will feature drive through access as an added convenience for its customers.

FNB Employees Raise Money to Benefit Trigg County Happy Feet

FNB Bank employees recently held a friendly internal bank-wide competition to raise money for the Trigg County Happy Feet organization.  The total amount raised was $1,575, including an additional $300 bank donation.  A check presentation was held on Thursday, October 27th at FNB’s Cadiz Main Office to present the funds to Trigg County Happy Feet.

Happy Feet Equals Learning Feet is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides brand new shoes to low-income students in need.  Happy Feet partners with Shoe Sensation, who brings in a trailer load of shoes, sets up a mini store and allows children to pick out shoes that fit.  $30 covers the cost of one pair of shoes.  With FNB’s donation to Happy Feet, they will be able to purchase 52 pairs of shoes for students in need. FNB Invites You to the Second Annual Glowing Graves Halloween Parade

FNB Bank is excited to announce that the second annual Glowing Graves Halloween Parade will take place in Mayfield on Saturday, October 15th at 6:30 PM.  The parade is sponsored by FNB Bank and the Mayfield Rotary Club.

“Graves County is once again the place to be this October and we are excited to be a part of the festivities with our family-friendly parade that our entire community can enjoy,” stated Brooke Wiles, FNB Marketing Director.  “Last year’s parade had a huge turnout from local parade watchers and folks from neighboring states and we’re happy to say that this year’s parade is even bigger.”

The Glowing Graves Halloween Parade will feature over fifty participants including festive floats, tractors, hayrides, marching bands, emergency vehicles and more! Due to tornado cleanup efforts, this year’s parade will be on a different route than last year.  The Parade will begin on 7th Street (near US Bank) and will turn East onto East Walnut.  It will then turn South onto South 6th/Paris Road.  The Parade will continue South until it turns East onto Douthitt St. The parade will end at Mayfield High School.  Parade participants will be distributing candy, glow sticks, and other family-friendly giveaways throughout the parade.

The Glowing Graves Halloween Parade is part of a larger initiative held in Graves County called Haunted Graves. FNB’s Money in the Haystack Children’s Event at Trigg County Ham Fest

Get ready to go hog wild at FNB’s Money in the Haystack Children’s Event this year at the 46th Annual Trigg County Ham Festival on Saturday, October 15th at West Cadiz Park. Children 12 and under are invited to play in the hay to find candy and cash! The event will begin at 10 AM with the oldest age group. Don’t miss out on the fun!

Check presentation at Kemp Ventures LLCA check presentation was held on Tuesday, September 13th, to present DREAM Together funds to Richie Kemp, owner of Kemp Ventures, LLC in the amount of $9,988.  Kemp Ventures, LLC is the latest local business to take advantage of the DREAM Together partnership program offered by FNB Bank and First Kentucky Bank.  The DREAM acronym stands for Downtown Revitalization & Economic Advancement for Mayfield.  Together, both Mayfield-based banks have partnered to provide incentives and low interest loans for businesses that want to rebuild and invest again in downtown Mayfield.  The collective goal of FKB and FNB is to stimulate economic development and put jobs back in one of the hardest hit areas in the community.

The Commonwealth Attorney’s Office will be housed in this office building, which is being renovated due to damage sustained in the December 10th, 2021, tornado.  The renovations are estimated to be completed by the first of next year.  The Commonwealth Attorney’s Office has been temporarily operating in the former Mayfield Veterinary Clinic building.

FNB Employees Raise Money to Benefit Eastern Kentucky Flood Victims

FNB Bank employees recently held a Fundraising Jean Day on Friday, August 12th to raise money for eastern Kentucky flood victims. The total amount raised by employees was $710. Of that money, $360 was donated to the Kentucky Bankers Association relief fund to aid those impacted by the flooding. The other $350 was divided and loaded onto FNB Gift Cards to be sent directly to flood victims in conjunction with the City of Mayfield and Mayor Kathy O’Nan’s relief efforts.

At FNB, we know all too well about experiencing natural disasters and our hope is to repay some of the outpouring of love and support that we received from across the state and beyond in the wake of our recent tragedy.”
