During the month of December, FNB Bank made a $1,000 Christmas donation on behalf of their customers and community members to Genesis Express in Cadiz, KY.

“Genesis Express serves the needs of so many in this community and we hope this donation helps them further their efforts, especially as they continue to fundraise for their Intergenerational Community Center” stated Kyle Hensley, FNB’s Trigg County Market President.  “Assisting the organizations in our community who provide for others is our way of showing appreciation for all that they do.”

Genesis Express provides programs to help community members lead valuable, productive, healthy, and happy lives. The programs offered help form partnerships with different organizations and groups throughout the community and foster a commitment to the youth, elderly and needy. They also provide supplemental support for community members across all generations in the areas of education, culture, health, social and recreation.

During the month of December, FNB Bank made a $1,500 Christmas donation to two worthy charities on behalf of their customers and community members.  Both the Community Christmas Connection Toy Drive for Mayfield and Graves County students and the Mayfield-Graves County Needline/Food Pantry received $750 donations to assist with daily necessities and expenses.

“It is our gift to give back this Christmas by assisting worthy charities that generously serve and make a difference in the lives of our community members,” stated Brooke Wiles, FNB Marketing Director.  “We are confident that the Community Christmas Connection efforts, along with the everyday mission of the Needline/Food Pantry are vital services that positively impact Mayfield-Graves County.”

FNB Bank is proud to announce that they have donated over $19,000 back to Mayfield, Graves County and Trigg County Schools through their Spirit Debit Card Program. These donations to the school systems are a result of FNB’s 3^rd quarter 2022 Spirit Debit Card Reward Program.

“We are proud to offer our exclusive FNB Spirit Debit Card Program to our local schools,” stated Brooke Wiles, FNB Marketing Director.  “Our customers have pride in knowing that they are making a difference in the lives of our youth by simply swiping their Spirit Debit Cards at the checkout.  The donated funds allow the school systems the opportunity to do more for their students and staff, which is an invaluable asset to our community.”

The FNB Spirit Debit Card Rewards Program allows FNB and their customers the opportunity to give back to their local schools when they use their FNB debit card.  FNB currently offers Spirit Debit Cards for Mayfield, Graves County and Trigg County Schools.  The Spirit Card works like a traditional debit card and for each signature-based transaction (not using your PIN), FNB donates $0.10 to the corresponding school.  The tracking process is hassle free for the card holder, as FNB does all the tracking and submits the check to each school on a quarterly basis.  The donated funds are utilized at the school’s discretion.

FNB Bank is proud to announce the addition of a temporary mobile unit office in Mayfield.  FNB’s new mobile unit office will be located at 201 North 8^th Street (former site of FNB Operations Center) and will temporarily operate through the rebuilding phase of FNB’s Mayfield Main Office.

The mobile unit will offer the same services as a standard FNB branch including the ability to process teller transactions, open deposit accounts, and lending services.  The unit will also include one drive-through lane for added customer convenience as well as a night depository.  ATM services will still be located at our Mayfield South office at 310 Charles Drive.  Hours of operation will be:

The opening of FNB’s Mayfield Mobile Unit is set for Thursday, December 1^st.  The Mayfield-Graves County Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon cutting on Tuesday, December 6^th at 11 AM.  More details will be announced when available.

A check presentation was held on Thursday, November 17^th, to present DREAM Together funds to Richard Chapman in the amount of $6,409.  Chapman took advantage of the DREAM Together partnership program offered by FNB Bank and First Kentucky Bank.  The DREAM acronym stands for Downtown Revitalization & Economic Advancement for Mayfield.  Together, both Mayfield-based banks have partnered to provide incentives and low interest loans for businesses that want to rebuild and invest again in downtown Mayfield.  The collective goal of FKB and FNB is to stimulate economic development and put jobs back in one of the hardest hit areas in the community.

The property owned by Richard Chapman at 423 East Broadway is occupied by the Law Offices of Null, Samson & Paitsel, and sustained extensive damage during the December 10th, 2021, tornado. Renovations are currently underway on the existing building and expected to be complete in early 2023.

Don & Danna Simpkins own the property and building at 304 South 6^th Street in Mayfield, that houses Western Kentucky Insurance. Western Kentucky Insurance, owned by Jonathan Simpkins, was devastated by the December 10^th, 2021, tornado that struck Mayfield.  The building was demolished and is currently in the rebuilding stage.  The newly constructed state of the art facility is anticipated to reopen in late Spring 2023 and will feature drive through access as an added convenience for its customers.

FNB Bank employees recently held a friendly internal bank-wide competition to raise money for the Trigg County Happy Feet organization.  The total amount raised was $1,575, including an additional $300 bank donation.  A check presentation was held on Thursday, October 27^th at FNB’s Cadiz Main Office to present the funds to Trigg County Happy Feet.

Happy Feet Equals Learning Feet is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides brand new shoes to low-income students in need.  Happy Feet partners with Shoe Sensation, who brings in a trailer load of shoes, sets up a mini store and allows children to pick out shoes that fit.  $30 covers the cost of one pair of shoes.  With FNB’s donation to Happy Feet, they will be able to purchase 52 pairs of shoes for students in need.
