How can I get FNB Fast Pay?

Simply setup direct deposit into an FNB checking account to receive your paycheck automatically. You may be asked for your checking account number, bank routing number and official bank name to get started.

If you already receive a direct deposit into your FNB account, it will automatically be available early if it is eligible for Fast Pay.

How does FNB Fast Pay Work?

With FNB Fast Pay, you can get access to your direct deposit up to two days prior to the scheduled payment date. The day and time we make funds available will depend on when we receive information about your deposit from your employer or other payor, which can vary from deposit to deposit.

Will all of my direct deposits be eligible for FNB Fast Pay?

With FNB Fast Pay, not all direct deposits are eligible, as this depends on the type of deposit and when we receive the file from your employer. You can call or email us at any time with questions on qualifying deposits.

Will I always get my paycheck early?

No, we cannot guarantee that you will always receive your paycheck early. Fast Pay is not guaranteed and may vary from deposit to deposit – including those from the same payor. Fast Pay availability depends on when we receive information from your payor that the funds are on the way, any limitations we set on the amount of early availability, and standard fraud prevention screening.

We encourage you to monitor your accounts in online or mobile banking to ensure when your direct deposit is funded to your account before spending the funds.

Can I have Fast Pay on direct deposits into my savings account?

Yes. Fast Pay will automatically apply to eligible direct deposits to your savings account.

Does Fast Pay cost anything?

It’s our pleasure to offer Fast Pay free of charge to any customer with a FNB checking account and direct deposit.

*Fast Pay is available for deposit accounts/customers that set up direct deposit with their employer or other payee to receive electronic deposits of regular periodic payments (such as salary, pension, or government benefits).

Certain non-payroll and tax payments are not eligible for Fast Pay. Early direct deposits may be automatically available up to 2 days earlier, however, we are dependent on the timing of your payer’s payment instructions, therefore, you may not always see your direct deposit arrive early.

Fast Pay eligibility may vary between pay periods and daily transaction limits may apply.
