FNB Invites You to the Second Annual Glowing Graves Halloween Parade
FNB Bank is excited to announce that the second annual Glowing Graves Halloween Parade will take place in Mayfield on Saturday, October 15th at 6:30 PM. The parade is sponsored by FNB Bank and the Mayfield Rotary Club.
“Graves County is once again the place to be this October and we are excited to be a part of the festivities with our family-friendly parade that our entire community can enjoy,” stated Brooke Wiles, FNB Marketing Director. “Last year’s parade had a huge turnout from local parade watchers and folks from neighboring states and we’re happy to say that this year’s parade is even bigger.”
The Glowing Graves Halloween Parade will feature over fifty participants including festive floats, tractors, hayrides, marching bands, emergency vehicles and more! Due to tornado cleanup efforts, this year’s parade will be on a different route than last year. The Parade will begin on 7th Street (near US Bank) and will turn East onto East Walnut. It will then turn South onto South 6th/Paris Road. The Parade will continue South until it turns East onto Douthitt St. The parade will end at Mayfield High School. Parade participants will be distributing candy, glow sticks, and other family-friendly giveaways throughout the parade.
The Glowing Graves Halloween Parade is part of a larger initiative held in Graves County called Haunted Graves. The Haunted Graves endeavor will feature various Halloween and Fall-themed events in Mayfield and Graves County throughout the month of October. “Only in Graves County can you walk through a corn maze, run screaming through a Haunted House, and attend a Halloween Parade all in one day,” added Wiles.
