August brings hundreds and hundreds of hummingbirds to Land Between the Lakes as they migrate south to Central America. You can see as many as 200 of them in a single day at the Woodlands Nature Station! Check out hummingbird banding demonstrations that will be ongoing throughout August as biologists catch, tag, and release hummingbirds as part of a long-term research project.
