FNB Makes $1,000 Christmas Donation to Two Charities in Benton-Marshall County
During the month of December, FNB Bank made a $1,000 Christmas donation to two worthy charities on behalf of their customers and community members. Both Marshall County Caring Needline and Marcella’s Kitchen received $500 donations to assist with daily necessities and expenses.
“FNB is excited to support these two great organizations with this Christmas donation,” stated Trent Lovett, Marshall County Market President. “Marshall County Caring Needline and Marcella’s Kitchen are wonderful programs that provide tremendous assistance to those within our community, and we hope these donations will assist in furthering their missions this Christmas.”
Marshall County Caring Needline is a food bank that provides essential food assistance to Marshall County residents, serving more than 400 families every month. Marcella’s Kitchen is a community kitchen with the goal of serving the hungry of Marshall County by providing free meal regardless of age, financial status, etc. The Marshall County nonprofit serves more than 300 people daily. The Kitchen relies on donations and volunteers, as it does not receive government funding. To donate to the nonprofit, you can send a check to Marcella’s Kitchen at P.O. Box 272, Benton, KY, 42025.
