FNB’s Lori Noel Receives Mabel Pullen Women in Agriculture Award

FNB Bank President & Chief Lending Officer, Lori Noel, was presented with the Mabel Pullen Women in Agriculture Award on Thursday, September 17, during the 6th Annual Breakfast on the Farm, presented by Murray State University’s Hutson College of Agriculture and the Murray-Calloway County Chamber of Commerce.
The award recognizes Lori’s more than three decades of dedication to Calloway County and Western Kentucky’s agricultural community, where she has built lasting relationships with farmers, farm families, and agri-businesses. Throughout her distinguished banking career, she has been a trusted partner to agricultural producers and businesses, combining her knowledge of agriculture with a genuine commitment to helping her customers achieve their goals.
Her involvement in agriculture extends beyond her work at FNB. Lori has dedicated her time and expertise to advancing Kentucky agriculture through service on statewide agricultural boards, including the Kentucky Agricultural Economic Development Board, to which she was appointed by Kentucky Commissioner of Agriculture Jonathan Shell. Perhaps most notably, Lori’s impact is reflected in the trust she has earned from the people she serves. Her understanding of agriculture, personal investment in her customers’ success, and commitment to finding a path forward have made a lasting difference for countless farm families and businesses throughout the region.
The Mabel Pullen Women in Agriculture Award was presented as part of the Breakfast on the Farm’s special awards program, which celebrates the hardworking people, businesses, and organizations that contribute to the strength of Calloway County’s agricultural community. The event brought together members of the agricultural and business communities for breakfast, networking, and a program highlighting the region’s agricultural industry. The event featured an update from Kentucky Agriculture Commissioner Jonathan Shell, along with keynote remarks from Dr. Paul Twigg, Murray State University’s provost and vice president for academic affairs. Dr. Brian Parr, Dean of Murray State University’s Hutson School of Agriculture, also shared a look back at 100 years of agriculture at Murray State University. The event concluded with the presentation of the Calloway County Agricultural Awards.
